Your school has the chance to win prizes up to the value of £1000!

Anything which promotes recycling, reducing, reusing and waste awareness in a creative way qualifies for entry into this competition; creating a Dvd, setting up an Eco area of the school’s website, promoting the use of reusable carrier bags in the local community, or even making music using instruments made from reclaimed materials. Extra marks will be given to entries which have or will result in actual waste reduction or increased recycling in your school or the local community.

Last year Ilkeston School won 1^st prize as their pupils successfully promoted waste awareness through a recycled fashion show, sculptures made from reclaimed materials, and developed plans for the school’s future in the shape of an Eco Group.
